Cannabis Genome Sequenced

A company by the name of Medicinal Genomics has just recently sequenced the entire genome of Cannabis sativa, commonly known as cannabis or weed. The genomic code was posted to Amazon’s EC2 public cloud computing service. This plant, notorious for its hallucinogenic properties, has medicinal properties as well. Medicinal Genomic believes that sequencing its genome could unlock new drugs for a variety of illnesses, such as cancer.
